March for babies...

Okay, so in my stroller strides class, they are forming a team fro March for babies. Anthony and I have both signed up for the 3 mile walk on Apr. 26th. If you are un aware of this event, it is a walk for the premature babues. All donations go to fund research to help premature babies. I think it is a wonderful cause. This is our first year. I am really happy that I have joined Stroller Strides. It is sucha wondeful programs with tons of events just fro families.. Bath time and fun..

Well Bekah has really enjoyed the water since she was first given baths. But now I think besides eating, it is her favorite time of the day. It is so funny to see her kick, and she wants to stand in the tub so much, well here are some cute pics..

Okay so our friend next door recommended this be be pod. It is a soft seat that helps babies learn to sit. She loves it. we eneded up taking it back, because we found a better deal on one that came with the tray, place mats and little toy. I can't wait to get it in..


Say what? hahaha This was today actually , we were getting ready fro stroller strides..See the jean jacket, way cute, yeah we just bought it. i thought hey, you can't gor wrong w/ one then you can use it with a boy too.

Bekah's little personalities

Well I havn't updated this in a couple weeks so I am sure, yall are all wondering what is going on. Rebekah is growing and getting even more beautiful every day. It's so funny to get compliments on her, and I know many people have mentioned she should be the next gerber baby. She is a doll. It's so funny to see her little personality come out already. She is such a little talker, I think she is going to be very vocalized when she gets older. It was funny, we were at the Dr the other day, and she was staring at this lady, well the lady had no response so Bekah started talking at her. It was funny, she wants all the attention and you have to tlak to her, or she will get upset at you. i tell her not everyone has to talk to her, but hey what are you going to do. Also we are trying to switch her from sleeping w/ me to her crib. She slept in her crib last night for only like 4 hrs, I guess that is not too bad but hey. ANy advice? I really don't want to let her cry, but I know it will come down to that. i am doing better w/ it though.. Okay picture time...

Hiking

Well since I have started this whole stroller strides class, I have really wanted to become more active. Anthony has always encouraged the outdoors, but I never really grew up with it. So we decided we would go for a hike. this is Mission Trails, it is about 5 mins from our home....

Easter

Well today is Easter. What a wonderful day. Church was such a nics service today, and tonight we are eating lobster alfredo. Well Rebekah was all dressed up today, her great grandma neadue gave this to her. She was so beautiful, she was given so many comments. Well of coarse we took pics.. enjoy..

I hope yall enjoy our beautiful little girl. I wanted to share something I was pondering on today while sitting in church, and hearing all the songs about Christ. I never really realized the love our heavenly father has for us, but being a parent I have experinced this love with Rebekah. I mean to watch your child be tormented and put through agony and pain, then suffer on a cross while people mock and laugh at him, is unbearable. It was an awful thing that had to happen for all of us. i am so thankful for the love of Christ and our father in heaven, because if Christ never died for us, Rebekah would not be here today. I am so thankful for the love of a parent.. I love you all..

Well so Anthony called me into the bathroom, and Bekah was talking to herself. It is so adorable. She gets fussie and we take her to the bathroom, and she loves to see the girl in the window.
