Anthony's Surgery Day

So as all of yall should know. Anthony went under the knife on Tuesday Feb. 5th. I won't lie I was little nervous especially after the sugery he had to have last year. He was under anesthesia for 31/2 hrs. It was not as an intensive surgery as he had last year, but it has to be bad either way. I mean who wants to have their jaw broken and then wired shut. i sure don't and i know Anthony did not want to especially a 2nd time. Well it happened so we are both trying to make the best of it. As f now he is wired shut for anywhere up to 2 weeks. He is on blenderized food for right now, but is looking forward to eating whole solid food. Oh well the lord has helped and is helping both od us get through this. Here are some pics...

Visits w/ Rebekah

Well since the birth of our Rebekah, we have had lots of visitors. Last week my grandmama came to visit her great grand daughter. It was so nice to see Rebekah light up with her. Rebekah is a very blessed little person w/ the love she has from all of our family. Also my sister's boyfriend Nick came up to visit for the weekend. He is a nice guy and we are lucky to have him in our lives right now. We are hoping that one day he will become an addition to our family. Rebekah loves him and smiles around him. It's cute and so we refer to him as Uncle Nick.. Here are some pics.....

I want to let everyone know how special Rebekah is to our family. She is such a comfort to myself, especially at this time. It is so neat to watch her turn into such a little person. We love you all..

Breathing Treatments and some cute pics

Well by now I am sure most of you are aware that we are now having to give Rebekah breathing treatments. She has give us such a scare in these 7 long weeks she has been with us. Rebekah started out with a little cough and I knew something wasn't right. Then she was getting a cold. Well we called the Dr on friday and the dr said to keep her inside and try to weigh out the weekend. So we checked her temperature every 4 hours and kept her warm. Anthony and I were getting a little nervous because she kept waking herself up in the middle of the nightbecause of her breathing. Monday we went to the Dr. and we were given a nebulizer. Well to make a long story short. I got strep and now we are both doing better. We are so thankful to our heavenly father fro helping us get through this hard time we have had, and I know it has and will make us stronger.
